Text 100 expands global, executive leadership team (ELT)

Three new members promoted to the ELT, five geographic regions now in place to accelerate future growth

NY, New York, 06/22/2010 — Text 100, the global public relations agency, has made three internal promotions to its executive leadership team (ELT). These promotions reflect the division of its Asia Pacific and; Europe, Middle East and African (EMEA) regions into smaller geographies. This expanded leadership team and new geographic structure creates a flatter management system, enabling Text 100’s leadership team to drive growth, responsiveness and innovation more directly and swiftly with local office leads. The new ELT will become effective from 1st August, 2010, and will ensure the agency is best placed to serve the strategic, creative and execution needs of all clients in all markets.

Text 100 introduces its new look ELT:
  • Anne Costello, former Senior Vice President Asia Pacific, promoted to Regional Director South Asia
  • Steven Murphy, former Regional Operations Director, Asia Pacific, promoted to Regional Director North Asia
  • Rowan Benecke, former Asia Pacific Regional Director, will relocate in September to Madrid to run the newly formed Central & Southern EMEA region
  • Sarah MacKenzie, former Global Head of Digital Lifestyle, promoted to Regional Director for Northern Europe
  • Scott Friedman, remains Regional Director for North America
  • Sarah Howe, remains as Global Campaign Innovation Director
  • Ava Lawler, remains as Global Consultancy Director
  • Andrew McGregor, remains Chief Operating Officer
  • Aedhmar Hynes, remains Chief Executive Officer

Kjell Hjelm, former Regional Director for EMEA has resigned and is leaving in July for personal reasons.

Text 100’s division of regions is based on head count and current revenues to allow for strong growth to continue across the five separate markets. The new South Asia region includes four offices in India, Text 100 subsidiaries GRO and Vox PR, and Text 100 Australia. North Asia includes Text 100 China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia and Japan. The Central & Southern EMEA region includes offices in France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Amsterdam, South Africa and partners in the Middle East; while Northern Europe encompasses the UK, Norway, Denmark, Sweden and Finland.

“We have created a flatter management structure to support our continued growth around the world,” said Aedhmar Hynes, CEO Text 100. “Our new leadership structure means that our leaders can stay closer to clients, and to supporting and developing staff. I am confident that these changes will position Text 100 incredibly strongly to take advantage of the new decade of digital opportunity that is upon us.”

“I am very excited to see our ELT expand with the level of experience and business acumen that Anne, Steven, and Sarah bring to the table,” continued Hynes.
